Experience

Gérard has advised and represented public entities and private companies for more than 25 years in public law matters, essentially in litigation. He is renowned for his expertise in all areas of administrative law.

Gérard’s activity covers all areas of public law, predominantly administrative property law (public/private domain, expropriation, public works), urban planning law and environmental law, areas in which he has developed recognized expertise, in addition to his knowledge of Civil Service laws and regulations.

He assists a clientele largely composed of public entities (national public institutions, public health institutions, local authorities) and private companies that act as providers for or delegators of public administration entities.

Gerard has extensive experience handling pre-litigation and litigation matters.

He is a lecturer in administrative litigation at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris (EFB).

Gérard has been a lawyer since 1990 and was trained by attorneys at the Council of State. He set up his own law firm specializing in representing public entities in 1995 and then founded FGD Avocats, before starting up Artemont.
