Farid Bouguettaya



Farid has an expert knowledge of all matters related to the digital economy and innovation.

Farid handles issues relating to new technology (internet, e-commerce, personal data, IT contracts) and media law, as well as intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, domain names).

His practice also includes the drafting and negotiation of contracts, commercial law and consumer protection (B2C agreements, advertising, commercial relations).

Farid has an excellent knowledge of European regulations on these topics and regularly assists clients in multi-jurisdictional studies and international projects.

His activity not only covers advisory and transactional matters but pre-litigation and litigation related to his practice areas.

Farid assists startups and major companies in various sectors including technology, e-commerce, media, luxury, transportation, and tourism. He assists industrial companies as well as investment funds and financial institutions.

Before setting up Artemont, Farid worked in leading Anglo-Saxon law firms, notably in the Commercial / IT department of Bird & Bird and more recently in the IPT team of DLA Piper.
